When Corin, James and I started to discuss their engagement shoot we envisioned a beautiful sunset session around the monuments. It would have been beautiful and appropriate, especially because James proposed at the Washington Monument, but weather was not on our side... or so we thought.

A fews days before the shoot, reports started coming in that we were in for a storm, either rain, snow or something in the middle... Disappointed at the idea of cancelling, my beautiful bride-to-be Corin suggested that if the storm turns out to be just snow that we should try to shoot anyway. I was thrilled at the idea of a snowy engagement shoot and the results were nothing short of magical.
